Basil Pesto This traditional pesto is made with generous amounts of fresh basil, fresh Parmesan cheese, nuts and blended oils. These ingredients are carefully blended to make a delicate, balanced and compelling flavor-promting one Milan native to remark "This is the closest pesto sauce to home that she's ever had in the United States." Of course this pesto is used on pasta but is a versatile enough to use as a sauce with chicken and fish. It works well as a dip too. Sun Dried Tomato As with the basil pesto, generous amounts of sun dried tomato's are used in this pesto sauce. When mixed with the cheese, nuts and oil mixture, this sauce has a very rich and compelling flavor. The sun-dried tomato pesto can be used with pasta, as a sauce for fish or chicken and also bakes very well. |
